For those of you that are engaged in "on scene" watching/monitoring BEWARE
as additional programs are rolled out !!!

The Associated Press, in this morning's local newspaper is reporting "School
Bus Driver's Part of War On Terror"...
Apprently the program has been started in the Norfolk VA (read US Navy
town!!!) area with the training of 250 drivers.
The program trainer told bus drivers "...the terrorist is not going to be
able to do some of he casing and rehearsal activity without being detected
by one of you!!...". There also concern that a terrorist might steal a
school bus & load it with explosives!!! One former official with the
Homeland Security Department express concern that school bus drivers (many
who have these jobs as part time supplemental income) would think of
themselves as undercover agents. The former official stated that these
programs needs to be controlled because "we could quickly become a society
where we're all spyng on each other"...

As many of you are aware there's been an expansion of these terrorist
watch/reporting programs throughout the country at local/county, state, & as
well as national level.

A quick "google" search shows the following:

AFOSI Eagle Eyes Program -- http://public.afosi.amc.af.mil/eagle/index.asp

DOJ TIPS Program -- http://www.dojgov.net/TIPS-01.htm

AOPA's "Airport Watch" Program -- http://www.aopa.org/asn/watch.html

TSA Airport Watch Reporting Program --

VA State Program --

US Waterway Watch --- http://www.americaswaterwaywatch.org/

etc..etc..

Sounds to me like we as "on scene" hobbyists need to start are own "watch
program"
How about this catchy phrase "On Scene Milcom Hobbyists, On Guard to Prevent
Terrorism" OSMHOGTPT:....
naugh, it's better to leave this up to the "Airport Covert Security &
Response Teams" (ACSRT)!!!

Of course as usually public or private comments are always welcomed!!!
