[MilCom] Acft assortment here now

Speaking of assorted craft...

Yesterday afternoon (2/5) I saw a very large craft, a multi-engine jet, B52
or larger, maybe a C5 as it had a high tail, surrounded by fairly large
swept wing fighters flying over Reno, NV.  They were all painted a light
gray, nearly impossible to see with the naked eye and moving  somewhat fast,
they were a good two to three miles ahead of the sound.  What could be in
such a plane to have such a large escort?  Thinking back I haven't seen the
UAVs fly over for a couple years now...
