The actual 'fleet broadcast' signals are 1200 baud BPSK (Binary Phase
Shift Keying) and although less than random, sound like random noise
most of the time. Unless you have BPSK receive capability, it is best
to tune across these in USB mode.

The 250.350 signal is from 100 west.

The 250.550 signal is from 23 west.

The 250.650 signal comes from 105 west but is not the 'fleet broadast'
style. It is not on all the time and has been 4800 baud BPSK when it is.
This signal appears random and is hard to tell from noise without the
right equipment. It has been up the last few days but not since 1800z
today.

There is also a similar 4800 baud signal from 177 west on 250.400 which
can be heard west of Texas.

These last two signals are via transponders from the 7/8 GHz range, a
new capability apparently of the UFO series satellites.
