[MilCom] Milcom Monitoring Antenna Location?

Here's the choices:
Antenna mounted outside in back yard on 10 foot pole, 50 foot run
Antenna mounted in attic that is approximately 30 feet higher BUT may be
a 100 foot run.

House does not have aluminum siding.

Antenna will be Radio Shack Model 20-176 VHF Hi/UHF Antenna

I've found that when using the computer/local area network, significiant
portions of the 138-144, 148-150.8 mhz band receive interference.
