The space shuttle Discovery will be launching some neat small satellite
payloads after it undocks from ISS. These are all military satellites (some
with amateur radio payloads), and this includes supposedly the MARScom
satellite (their super secret MARS frequencies are posted on my blog) and
the Radar Fence Transponder (RAFT). This satellites carries a neat
experiment that using the Navy Space Surveillance fence in the 216 MHz range
that you may be able to hear and participate in, if you have a multimode
VHF/UHF receiver. More details about all of this was posted this morning on
my MT Milcom (http://mt-milcom.blogspot.com/) and B-Town Monitoring Post
(http://monitor-post.blogspot.com/) Blogspots.
