Generally it's used by KC10's out of McGuire AFB for air/air comms including
refueling training between the 10's.
This VHF frequency range will change to narrow band standards by 1/1/08, so
at that it's possible that some current air/air, air/ground frequencies may
change. Already in the northeast we've seen the 104FW air/ground 138.05 get
changed to 143.825. Additionally the 103 FW's air/ground was also changed
to 138.55 versus 141.8.
So IF the KC10's are operating on ATC VHF and you can't find them on
139.875, than start searching cause you might find a new frequency for them
in the future!
