Thanks Jack interesting "historic" information.  Wasn't the C130 ABCC 
basically replaced by the 'Joint Stars" E8 aircraft?
Many years ago when I saw the  C130 ABCC, actually it isn't built into the 
aircraft but is basically a  prefabricated self contained steel box (with 
radios, crt's, etc (as shown in the video), that is placed & secured  in the 
C130 aircraft.  If I remember correctly they also have to install additional 
antennas on the C130 aircraft.     If I remember correctly there was also 
some experiments about using RPV's as communications relays with "the box" 
remaining on the ground?
