[MilCom] Is DC Cap going up??

Current media reports they were going to blow up the planes over the ocean 
not hijack them!!!  Other than waste av-gas wouldn't really prevent 
anything!!!

However, it looks like using a scanner at the airport before you board the 
aircraft is going to be a thing of the past since it looks like just about 
all carry on items will have to be put in your checked luggage.
