Ken et all;
Thanks for the monthly compilations. They are always enjoyed and useful.
Unfortunately, work and fatherhood rarely permit me the time to conduct any
detailed searches or scans. Every once in a great while, I get an
opportunity to plug in some of the freq.'s that I see others posting and
catch the tail end of those operations if anything at all. 20 years ago,
long before I was a dad, and a workaholic, and pre-internet popularity days,
I would have posted massive quantities of data. If the building I worked in
was not such an RF screen, I'd try setting up the scanner on the desk to see
if I could pull anything in. But as my professional expertise is in the art
and science of trying to get signals into buildings and knowing the
attitudes of my employer, I know that my desk will continue to be a giant
black RF hole.
As I look through the listings, amongst many others, I note that I have not
seen anything in a very long time for Hanscom Command Post on 397.100.
Anybody know if this frequency is still active? Has it been changed to
accommodate ISR, or maybe the wideband operations on 397.050?
Anybody have some thoughts?
