The DoD FLIP sups are going away 1 Oct

Not quite true. Effective October 1, 2006, NGA will move DAFIF and FLIP information to
the NGA NIPRNET/Extranet. To access the NGA NIPRNET/Extranet, you will need a
PKI certificate and additional access privileges granted by NGA.
I have an account with the FAA NACO. The sales person faxed me a letter stating
these pubs. will still be available in print form until October 2007. I will post the letter to
the list. The digital download (DAFIF) will be gone October 2006. You will need a PKI
certificate to access the system. Additionally this is from the DAFIF web site:
Discontinue Printing of the US Preferred Routes in Area Planning/1 (AP1-North and
South America): With Army, Air Force, and Navy approval, NGA will stop printing the
US PREFERRED ROUTES in the Area Planning Book/1 (AP1-North and South
America) with an effective date of 15 MAR 2007.
