There was NORAD exercise that started last Wednesday
Maybe the Snipers were participating in it.
Usually the Sniper Call-sign over Cold Lake involves a live munitions  
mission. If it was NORAD I would figured a call-sign more like Archer.
 
Another strange thing that was occurring last Wednesday and Thursday  were 
multiple transmissions  between Trenton military.......using  the Edmonton 
military repeater on 11232 HF with a Tiger call  sign.  These Tigers,  were on HF 
and constantly asking for wx at  various Montana locations like Billings, 
Helena, Missoula,   Idaho Falls, but not Great Falls.  I don't think these guys 
were  Cdn C-130's that also have a Tiger call sign.   I am not sure what the  
guys out of Mtn. Home have for radios, but given their rapid  deployment mission 
we do know they are a different bunch of cats so to  speak.
