((TOPGUNS probably returning from Oceana where they deployed a week or so
ago))
381.40: DOG-3 A/A with DOG-1, (Unk), discussing INS problems on one of the
jets. Sounded like they were headed for Fallon with maybe a stop at Grand
Junction.
251.25: TACO-41, flight of 2, (F-16, NM-ANG), working Airburst Range with
SMASHER (FAC).

Airburst Range with SMASHER (FAC).
291.675: AMBUSH-21, (F/A-18A, VFC-12, Oceana), land; then on to Nellis.
275.80: PEAK-11, flight of 2, (F-16, Buckley), scramble. A real Keystone
Cops scenario on this one. First they got held on the runway until the powers
that be could figure out if it was really a scramble. Then they got stopped in
mid takeoff roll because Denver had traffic off the end of Buckley's runway. By
the time they finally got airborne, their target had landed at DIA. Spent the
next 1/2 hour cursing and grumbling around the skies to burn off enough fuel
to land. They were super PO'd. Working BIGFOOT on 271.00 and unknown on 296.70.
121.00: HORSE-905, (C-130, Little Rock), land.
121.00: BALL-51, (T-6A, Vance), land.
