BTW - He was  F-14D #163897 for those of you who follow  serial  numbers.  <<

163897 had an interesting life.  Held a couple of tail  numbers with Oceana's 
VF-101 "Grim Reapers."  Then went to the  VF-213.  Hope he finds some 
stability 
in his  final resting  place.

Makes me wonder if he's going to be on a pole at McClellan, or that was  just 
another stop on a final tour of some kind.
