I would like to say thank you to those that sent me Nellis & Area 51
freqs a couple weeks ago, unfortunately I came down with the flu right
before the trip making it a bust. I did however get to spend the week
recovering at my girlfriends pad in Ridgecrest, this gave me the
perfect opportunity to hunt down freqs for the nearby China Lake Naval
Air Weapons Station.

A CTCSS tone of 127.3Hz is used on all VHF-FM freqs except 143.5250
(Public Works), on this freq no CTCSS or DCS tone was found.

120.1500 TOWER
121.5000 GUARD
128.2500 CHINA CONTROL - RANGE CHECK IN
138.9750 UNKNOWN USER - CAMERA TESTING
141.5000 FLIGHTLINE / RANGE CONTROL
141.9500 FIRE DEPARTMENT
143.5000 SECURITY POLICE (OUTPUT)
143.5250 PUBLIC WORKS
149.0500 UNKNOWN USER - WEAK VOICE BURST
149.0750 SECURITY POLICE (INPUT)
149.3750 SOUNDS LIKE SECURITY POLICE
243.0000 GUARD
282.8000 SEARCH AND RESCUE
301.0000 CHINA CONTROL - RANGE CHECK IN
320.6500 CHINA CONTROL - COSO RANGE
322.3750 ATIS
336.4500 CHINA CONTROL - SUPERIOR VALLEY SECONDARY
340.2000 TOWER
343.1500 METRO
360.2000 GROUND
362.0000 CHINA CONTROL - SUPERIOR VALLEY PRIMARY
362.5250 INTEGRATED BATTLESPACE ARENA (IBAR)
381.9000 CHINA CONTROL - ECHO RANGE

138.9750 had a crew either repairing or installing a camera system, no
other traffic was heard.

149.0500 had a brief burst of voice, no other traffic was heard.

149.3750 was active for 2 minutes with what sounded like Security
Police traffic, no other activity was logged during the week so im
guessing this is a secondary or tac channel.

362.5250 is a new freq and IMO by far the most entertaining, I ran it
by some locals and they said theyve never logged it before. After
three days of monitoring the ground controller started IDing as
"IBAR", a quick google search turned up the Integrated Battlespace
Arena facility.

No other users were heard on this freq so its safe to say its a
dedicated frequency and they are the only user.
