[MilCom] Popular Communications Added Military Column!

Interestingly it appears that "Popular Communications" magazine (October 
2005)
  http://www.popular-communications.com/Oct%2005%20Highlights.html has added 
another (monthly?) column  called "Military Radio Monitoring on VHF, UHF, 
HF, & Satellites" that will be written by Allan Stern.

What's interesting also is (at least in the October edition), Steve 
Douglass'  'Utility Communications Digest" has sub column titled "MILCOM: 
Venturing Above 30 mhz"

So it looks like a very good dose of milcom in the October 2005 issue!!! 
(BUT I still haven't made it to the bookstore to get my September 2005 
edition yet -- Use to be able to buy it right on the way home but that store 
stopped carrying the magazine & eventually closed & now it's about 10 miles 
out of my way)

I'm sure that most of you on this list know that Al Stern has been a 
consistent posting/contributor with 'ready to use' factual information for 
the Cape FL area over the years this list has been in existence.

Congratulations to Al -- I'm sure that he will do the milcom monitoring 
hobby a great service by publishing information in a national magazine!
