[MilCom] 125 FW VHF

It sounds like the 125 FW FL ANG F-15s might have some new
radio gear.  I just caught SNAKE flight trying to set their radios
to work on 148.125 to work with VIPER 21/22, but they were 
unable to get things to work properly (it sounded like it may 
have been operator error).  First, they were discussing how to
set it over 314.200:  "You've got to put it on eleven or nuts to 
get a VHF air-to-air."  I heard some unintelligible signals on 
148.125 AM shortly thereafter, probably SNAKEs in the wrong
mode.  SNAKE 01 also advised VIPER 21 that "we're working on
our VHF problems."  They never did get it to work, but it certainly
seems that they do now have VHF capability, they just have to 
figure out how to properly use it.
