Yes, there is a Coast Guard Station in Fallon!!!
While in the Fallon area last week I had the 
opportunity to visit the CG LORAN Station there.
This LORAN station is a VERY interesting place
and visitor's are welcome by appointment!
The state of the art transmittter feeds 420,000+
watts of power to the live 620+ ft. tower!
This transmitter site should be a must see if you
ever in that area!!!
