[MilCom] 501st Avn

In the last couple of weeks I've been getting HF ALE from TZ501 and several  
helos using id's R05###.  All I can find for the 501st Avn is that they  have 
units in Germany & Iraq and fly AH-64s.
 
Does anyone have any info on a unit of the 501st Avn here in the  states?  
I'm sure I'm not picking up Germany or Iraq. The R05### ALE ids  would certainly 
fit for AH-64s.
 
Any help would be appreciated.
