Allegedly the USACE in New England  has VHF links between VHF highband
repeaters to it's Mt Wachusett (MA) communications hub with a microwave link
to it's Concord MA headquarters.

Potential communications links include:  148.6 (NH), 148.75 (CT),
148.925(CT), 149.825(VT)

Most people monitor the activity on the VHF highband repeaters (163.4125,
167.925, 168.125, 168.325)
