Not sure if these might be related but the Monday photo-op tour by Dubya
had three huge cargo helos hauling the press and maybe some staff. These
were single rotor types but with a rear cargo ramp and size on the order
of a C-130. I have not seen those used before. They were marked "Marine
Corps" rather than "U S of A" like the HMX-1 helos.
They landed at the Miss. stop and the traveling press scurried out the
rear ramp immediately, running to positions to cover the arrival a few
minutes later of the decoy and Marine 1, the smallest type of the White
Tops.
So, are there any Marine helos that might use DEVIL?
