TUFF 17 (good levels) was active on 11175.0 at 1540z+/- with
attempted phone patch via MCCLELLAN to [sounded like "JAKE"] via
MUDBUG CONTROL but MUDBUG had difficulty with patch, plus there were
at least two operators (often dueling with each other) id'ing as TUFF
17 trying to pass information to JAKE via MUDBUG. Confusing, plus
TUFF 17 always sounded like he was experiencing a latency problem
(long delays in answering each comm.)
OPEC 15 (good) was active on 11175.0 at 1831z+ calling MAINSAIL
and raising at least two HFGCS stations with OFFUTT the stronger here
and to OPEC 15, for phone patch traffic.
New subj. 11175.0 was active at 1655z+/- with OFFUTT and
PUERTO RICO (and maybe others) attempting (often) to raise 71 CHARLIE
with no apparent luck. At 1655z 71 CHARLIE (weak/readable here)
called but there was no known response and the HFGCS lit up with EAM traffic.
11175.0 was active at 2214z with GRIZLY 11 calling MAINSAIL and
raising MCCLELLAN and requesting message traffic. MCCLELLAN advised
there was none and gone.
