For anyone interested in recording audio to your PC, but you may not be sure
how to do so, it is really easy. I wrote an article in February 2004 for
"Scanning USA" on this topic and I'd be happy to send a copy (MS Word) to
anyone wanting to know how to do so. Just drop me an e-mail over the next
week and I'll send it out at the end of the week.

I don't know what kind of scanner you have, but another option is to get
some computer control software to run it. TrunkStar will not only
record, it will record any channel you tell it to, along with the time
and channel data.

So when you start listening, it will play back whatever it has recorded
and tell you what time and channel it recorded it on. It doesn't use a
lot of space either.

If you just want to record one channel or don't need to know which
channel it recorded, Scanrec is a great program.
