Hello John:

Regarding the frequency below, do you think it was an air/air type tactical 
frequency?   A Review of the US IFR supplement shows that this frequency is 
for the ANG Command Post at Memphis TN, which would be the 164th Airlift 
Wing flew C141's up until May 2004 and were transitioning to C5 aircraft. 
Generally transport type aircraft use their command post frequency as 
air/air tactical freqs if enroute with more than one aircraft OR just seeing 
if there's another "home" aircraft within range.
