[MilCom] Dover AFB IDEN Network Test?

Does anyone know what the final results were of Dover AFB DE usage of Nextel 
IDEN to replace certain intrabase radios nets (non emergency type, e.g. 
fire, police, disaster prepardness).  I understanding that the base is going 
to trunked radio system.  BUT I'm wondering if the nextel (now 
sprint/nextel) units are still being utilized?
