[MilCom] Mid South Airshow, Millington, TN.

Just got back from Millington's MS airshow and man is
my butt sore.   3 and half hours there and back.   It
was very fun and the staff there was awesome.   It was
my first one there and i definitely will be back. 
Some of the freqs noted:

120.25  NQA Tower
340.20  NQA Tower--F-16 had to get relay to air boss
for start up.
   
122.85  Air (Show) Boss

269.90  I guess was the UHF Air Boss but the F-16 had
no joy when starting up.   Ended up on Victor.  
 
123.15  Discrete  All civilian acts used this for A2A
and simulcasting with PA, including the Heritage
Flight.

Mil TAC Demos:
A-10  Callsign HAWG or HOG 01-Taxi out on 122.85 and
switch discrete 123.15  (no squadron freq noted)

F-16C  Callsign VIPER 01 No joy on 269.9 so taxi out
on 122.85 (no discrete noted)

F/A-18F Callsign RHINO 01 (VFA-106, backup bird 
VFA-103) Taxi out on 122.85 (no discrete noted) 
Nothing against the other two demos but this one was
by far my favorite.   A very maneuverable A/C.

Heritage flight consisted of P-51, F-16, A-10, and 
F-4 Phantom  All on 123.15 When they started the
passes it was very silent on the radio, didn't notice
them on another freq.

272.10  Canadian Snowbirds All 9 A/C stay on this
freq.  Very easy to monitor and as usual a very moving
and crisp performance.

USN BLUE ANGELS:
139.8125  Maintenance A  

142.6125  Maintenance B and Comm cart.   Simulcasted
on about 3 other freqs.   Or it's the step thing.

305.50  (Button 10) Fat Albert (C-130)  Nice JATO

346.50  Taxi Out  (Nice to hear the guys relaxed while
theycut up with each other as they head for the
runway)

284.25  Show Center (Diamond and Solos)

275.35  Behind the Crowd (Diamond 1-4)

237.80  Behind the Crowd (Solos 5 & 6)

It was a great show and FEDEX is awesome as a sponsor.
 All performances were great and was worth the drive. 
 Can't wait till Chattanooga.
