I was able to make it to the Open
House for the NASA Wallops Flight
Facility of course it not as big
as Navy and Air Force bases airshows
it more just a walk-thu type deal
for locals and family of NASA Wallops
empolyess.Exhibitors: NASA and its contractors,
Navy Surface Combat Systems Center, U.S. Coast Guard,
NOAA, Marine Science Consortium, Mid-Atlantic Regional
Spaceport,Virginia State Police, Virginia Space Flight
Academy, The Nature Conservancy, U.S. Fish and
Wildlife Service.It was small but it was
a good start for them hopefully next year
they can add more.Both the F-18 and A-10
flew over the runway areaa couple time
before landing of course I didnt get
there till after that :(
