[MilCom] KBKF: 30 SEP 2005

VAMPIRE 31 (F/A-18E) Landed KBNA tonight around 1900
with gear problems (wouldn't come down), had to "blow"
the gear down.   Not a typical Navy landing.  All
comms with ATC was on VHF.   Pilot is delivering it to
NAS Oceana to a combat ready squadron.   All VX-9
markings were removed.   Other than that a boring
Friday.
