[MilCom] "On Scene" Report KBAF

Was "On Scene" @ Barnes Municipal Airport/Barnes ANGB (KBAF), Westfield (MA) 
from approx 0925
to 1155 hrs local.. 4 other hobbyist were also there.

AERO ACTIVITY:
Got to see, monitor, & photograph some A10 aircraft activity:
PUNCH 1, 2, 3, 4 -- Landing
GUNHOG 1, Take off/climb out
GUNHOG 2, Take off/climb out

Additionally heard:
KILLER 1 (A10's):  Climb out, .
Uknown Acft (probably Stewart C5) (379.4), ops coordination with cmd post.

Also while driving home mobile:
RIFLE 1 (2 A10's):  Climb out
HAMMER 1 (2 A10's):  Climb out.
Unk -- 136.6 air/air?  -- some information chit chat (1215 hrs local).

148.8625  just a few transmissions (might have been Bradley ANGB KBDL ANG)

Additionally the Base wide public address system "Big Voice" could also be
heard giving exercise updates.  Furthermore the base siren also was 
activated at least
one time,  & there were a few explosions & gun fire heard.

However, for the most part only aircraft activity could be observed from
the gravel parking lot next to FBO Five Star Jet Aviation / Airport Admin
Building/Control Tower.

Equipment utilized mobile included:  BC296D, BC9000XLT, RS Pro 26, RS Pro
83, Radio Shack all band mobile montioring antenna & Grove portable
extendable antenna.

It was a bit cold if the window to the vehicle was left down BUT if the
windows were up, the sun generated enough heat to keep one fairly
comfortable.
