Very busy Saturday. Wing Drill Weekend and other stuff.
275.80: YANKEE-16, flight of 2, (A-10A, CT-ANG), land.
121.00: SUMMIT-25, (C-130H, Peterson), land.
121.60: SUMMIT-25, (C-130), cleared out to Front Range Airport for paradrops.
132.35: SUMMIT-25 working with Denver Tower and on 120.20 with Front Range
Tower. Never did catch a drop controller.
275.80: RIVAL-31, flight of 2, (F-16, Buckley), cleared Cheyenne MOA.
275.80: REDEYE-11, flight of 2, (F-16, Buckley), cleared Cheyenne MOA.
275.80: STUD-21, flight of 2, (F-16, Buckley), cleared Cheyenne MOA.
381.40: RIVALs, STUDs & REDEYEs in Cheyenne MOA. Too low to maintain
consistent hearability.
372.20: JOSA-906, (C-21A, Peterson), takeoff Colorado Springs.
275.80: HAWKEYE-81, flight of 2, (F-16, IA-ANG), cleared To Des Moines.
372.20: SWIFT-75, (C-21A, Scott), takeoff Colorado Springs.
121.60: ERIC-57, (CN-235, Pope), cleared to Pope.
121.00: SUMMIT-25, (C-130, Peterson), land; then back to Colorado Springs.
380.20: CONGO-65, (UV-18, AF Academy), comm check with Springs Approach.
239.025: DICE-11, flight of 4, (F-15E, Elmendorf), takeoff Colorado Springs.
Switch 289.40 for fly-by Air Force-vs-Army football game.
289.40: CONGO-65, (UV-18), letting DICE flight know that all his (65's)
jumpers are on the ground at the stadium. F-15's then do fly-by and recover
Colorado Springs. ((Home game fly-bys have been really flaky this year. Usually only
a single formation; unlike past years where at least a dozen aircraft of
varying types were involved))
275.80: KILLER-1, (A-10A, CT-ANG), cleared Cheyenne MOA.
275.80: MAKO-1, (A-10A, CT-ANG), cleared Cheyenne MOA.
275.80: STUD-51, flight of 2, (F-16, Buckley), cleared Cheyenne MOA.
275.80: REDEYE-41, flight of 3, (F-16, Buckley), cleared Cheyenne MOA. Again
working on 381.40, and again too low and too weak to copy. DRAT!!!
275.80: RATTER-25, (T-37B, Vance), cleared to Amarillo.
372.20: JOSA-924, (C-21A, Wright-Patt), land Colorado Springs.
275.80: RATTER-64, (T-37B, Vance), cleared to Amarillo.
257.875: RATTER-69, flight of 2, (T-37B, Vance), takeoff Colorado Springs.
Switch 379.95.
275.80: RATTER-22, (T-37B, Vance), cleared out VFR.
275.80: RATTER-24, (T-37B, Vance), cleared out VFR to Pueblo.
372.20: SWIFT-72, (C-21A), land Colorado Springs. Claims he is a "home
station" bird. May be Scott pilots returning a borrowed Peterson aircraft.
372.20: TETON-88, (C-130, WY-ANG), calling Peterson PTD.
372.20: LOBO-582, (C-9B, Cherry Point), land Colorado Springs.
372.20: SPUR-01, (C-21A), takeoff Colorado Springs. ((Sounds like the same
aircraft that came in earlier as JOSA-924.))
