Little to post today.
Some acft passed through here in the early afternoon, heading north, chatting
away on 337.8. One of the pilots was a YL. They talked about the landing rnwy
being Rnwy 26. Pretty sure this group is returning from NAS Key West; I
heard them southbound a few days ago, chatting on the same freq near Ft Myers.
Heard a couple of Coast Guard Auxiliary boats patrolling the waters around
Patrick AFB (157.175).
A pilot was heard pleading his case to MacDill's Lightning Ops on 311.0,
claiming their late takeoff was not due to late crew arrival, but do to the fact
that the proper forms were not ready in time.
GITMO 02, a UC-12B was heard diverting to Daytona Beach A/p instead of flying
to NAS Jax. Divert was due to wx which has hounded all acft over Florida
today. (344.6, 134.0, 127.075).
Customs' OMAHA 42 was in comms with Jackpot concering wx issues too, on
282.425.
RU 240, a Point Mugu VR-55 C-130T, also was heard northbound.
Maybe tomorrow will be a better day.
