We heard 3 rumors:
1) At the time it was going on- 2 bombs on base.
2) On Saturday we heard a man was in the crowd with a gun.
3) On Sunday we heard a child had brought a cap gun w/caps, with him/her, and the dogs 
picked up on it.

I tend to be believe the third.  Security seemed to be OK on Saturday and Sunday.  I 
think it were one of the first two- security would have been very tightfor the rest of 
the weekend.
