Much more activity than I'm used to today! Now I see why some of you guys have multiple scanners! Had my only 2 mil-air scanners going today and could have used a few more! Several A-10's operating at Yakima Training Center today. Most activity was on 290.6 (YTC FAC)


149.675  YTC Range Control - OP-1 requesting permission to clear 6 A-10's into airspace.

290.6      Bushmaster (YTC Forward Air Controller) - Chisel 11 flight of 2 A-10's cleared into restricted area.
             Bushmaster - Chisel 21 flight of 2 A-10's Cleared into Restricted area.

290.6      Bushmaster - Chisel 11 needs to return to McChord, declaring emergency

269.35    Seattle Center - Chisel 11 needs clearance to McChord, declaring emergency for a hung live
             weapon. 

269.35     Seattle Center - Chisel 31 flight of 2 A-10's en route Yakima Training Center

290.6      Bushmaster - Sting 51 single KC-135 requesting decent to 10000 to refuel Chisel 31 flight

286.2      A/R Freq. Sting 51 - Chisel 31 and 32 will take 1,000 lbs. each. 

132.6      Seattle Center - Sting 51 is RTB to McChord (Still not sure if I heard "sting" correctly)

290.6      Bushmaster - Chisel 31 flight cleared into restricted area

120.3      Seattle Center - Raid 90  en route to McChord

290.6      Chisel 11 flight of 2  - Bushmaster. Back again, have 30 minutes of playtime. Chisel 21 and 31 
              2 flights of 2 A-10's will follow shortly
