I have also seen Mako used operationally as a CVW-17 callsign used by a strike package of F/A-18 and EA-6 aircraft off the USS JFK. So this could be a callsign associated with VAQ-132 which should be the CVW-17 EA-6 sqd the last time I checked. I think Matt Cawby might be in the best position to add to this discussion. Matt have you seen Mako ## used in the Pac NW by any of the EA-6 squadrons? If not then maybe it is a CVW-17 callsign???
