Well Grove Enterprise's "Military Frequency Directory" 2nd edition seems to 
indicate that this frequency could be in use as a Range Control and/or 
air/ground freq by Army or Army National Guard aero units in your area.

I heard some aircraft last night on 248.400AM, but I wasn't able to get a 
callsign. It's the first I've anything on this freq in a while. Anyone have 
any info on it?
