[MilCom] Military Trunking/Other Base Support Radio Systems Censorship?

Interesting to note that radio reference (www.radioreference.com) has
removed a few sites' (so far 9 sites) information on its' very extensive
Military/Federal radio trunking systems per request of the agencies in the
past. In some instances the letters (posted) basically state that it was
classified and/or extremely sensitive information. HOWEVER, the website
doesn't honor requests from local or state governments to remove such
information.

"Monitoring Times" magazine "MILCOM" column, appears also to be publishing
military trunking and other P25/freq base support radio system information
fairly extensively (examples):
*January 2005 edition: Buckley AFB (CO) System Robins AFB (GA) TRS, Bradley
ANGB (CT) Digital
*December 2004 edition: Westover JARB Digital System, "National Capitol
REgion P25IP TRunk System, Ft Gordon (GA) UHF Trunk System
*November 2004 edition: "Pauxent River Naval Warfare Aircraft Center (MD),
Camp Bullis (TX), Ft Campbell (KY). MaxwellAFB /Gunter Annex (AL).
*September 2004 edition: Eglin AFB (FL), new 380-399.9 P25 system,
requesting information
*June 2004 editon: "New LMR Band"
December 2003 edition: Ft Lenard Wood (Mo).
October 2003 edition: Ft Benning (GA) TRS

I've found www.radioreference.com to be a excellent source of information,
but have to wonder why they are removing information at the request of
military/federal authorities?

On this list, military land mobile radio systems information is rarely
posted. Perhaps this is due to the local nature of NFM/P25/Trunking info,
that might be of more interest on more local/regional scanner lists.
Surely, I'd agree that at the very least the security frequencies/talk
groups need to encrypted at all times -- (and this is a planned goal for all
security functions) , regardless of what hobbyists are reporting/not
reporting!

So it will be interesting to see/hear what happens in the future!!!
