Hello Group ,  President Bush is scheduled to visit Shreveport Louisiana on
3-11-05. Im sure that AF-1 will land at Barksdale AFB. His last visit to
BAFB was on 9-11-2001. When he left Florida that morning his first stop was
at BAFB. AF-1 used vhf comms on that visit and when President Clinton
visited in 1993. I have all of BAFB's vhf/uhf app/dep/tow/grd frequencies
but am in need of any special/discrete aero frequencies and the frequencies
utilized by his support staff and the S.S. . Im sure that all support
frequencies are incrypted vhf but if anyone has any that are not incrypted
please advise. Im sure his "advance team" will be in town by Monday-Tuesday
and could already be there. When President Clinton visited
Shreveport/Bossier City in 1993 all support comms were incrypted and one
could only hear a "rushing wind noise" and some buzzing noises between tx.
Again , If anyone can give me any non-incrypted support frequencies or
non-standard aero frequencies please advise.                             On
another note.    I read with some sadness that the military is looking at
fitting all of there planes with incrypted radios for A/A and tower/ground
stations. Lets enjoy the hobby while it last. Maybe one should record some
of there favorite stations. Im sure that this change will take several
