By far a very comprehensive website for airshows/ base open houses is the 
International Council of Airshows website:  http://www.airshows.org/
Check out the events data base that provides a variety of ways to research 
air shows from the very largest to the smallest.  Includes a list of 
performers.  Also some additional sites are cross referenced.
