A review of my digital photos again revealed the following additional
aircraft:

C130J, RI ANG, 91432
T1A "Jayhawk", CB 95060

Some Additionally Monitoring Specifics:
There was an off shore (Narragansett Bay) 600 yard security/safety zone &
the Coast Guard continued to broadcast warnings to mariners on 157.10 about
every 10 to 15 minutes. There were plenty of boats out there on the bay
watching the show. Perhaps next year I'll bring my yacht :) ;)

Additionally equipment I utilized monitoring
Portable:
1. RS Pro 26, might be old & worn but still is a good radio to use at
airshow
2. RS Pro 89, basically just used in signal stalking capability. Seemed to
do fine with finding Base Support Nets in Use. Also did get a hit on the
control tower frequency when next to the Show Boss Comm trailer. I only
used it initially for about 2 hrs in the show area.
Mobile: BC780XLT, in stealth mode, with Grove's Universal Telescoping Whip
antenna, basically at a 45 degree angle across my vehicles dash board.
Performance IMHO was highly effective.

A few of us with portable scanner radios noted that unless we had the radios
out of the hostler/clip away from our bodies it was difficult to get an
adequate signal strength on the Aero UHF freqs from the performers (but
didn't seem to affect as much the NFM VHF nets). Especially if you are
stitting down in a chair. If the radios were held in the hand away from the
body that seemed to improve the reception.

Also what was unique for the show is that an FM radio station (currently not
being used at a college) was brought on scene to simucast what was on the
loud speakers so even in the parking lot one could listen to the announcer
without a problem.

Other Comments:
There defintely wasn't enough Porta Potties to support the crowds that were
in attendance. Very few in the parking area. In the show area, there was
virtually 20 minute waits. HOWEVER, if you were in the VIP area, Ya didn't
have to wait since there was about 6 porta potties.

There was no accountability for people donating $10.00 upon entry. Some
sort of numbered ticket/acknowledgement should have been used. Although I
donated, I really was not impressed by this total lack of accountability &
would have liked to had a receipt!!!

Again, this is a very good yearly show to attend. Hope many of you can make
it next year to next year's show.
Everyone though was pretty laid back enjoying the show, and courtesy IMHO
was very high. Even going out of the parking lot without a policeman with
two lanes of traffic merging, 1 car from 1 lane would go and than one from
the other so everyone got out with a minimum of waiting.

Lastly, even when it isn't sunny out ALWAYS USE SUNBLOCK lotion!!!! It was
seemingly a LONG painful drive home for me!
