Hello from Nashville. New member here. Here in
Nashville, Tn we don't have much of an opportunity for
great milcomm monitoring like the folks on the coasts
and mid west but BNA is getting a little more military
transit traffic here lately so if i catch any i'll
list 'em. Good news and bad news though. Bad news:
I work at BNA during peak milcomm monitoring times.
Good news: I do work for the FBO (Signature) that the
military flights go to if they don't go to the guard.
Well, here's what went on today.
F/A-18C callsign Wildcat 51 (VFA-131) broke down on
Fri morning so this morning two mechs were airlined in
and around 1100 Wildcat 01 arrived with the parts and
tools in a pod under the left wing. (Pretty neat)
As they left: Wildcat 51 and 01 departed BNA around
1230 348.600 Grnd, 257.800 tower, 385.550 for 51 and
317.45 for 01. 51 went west and 01 back to Oceana.
1615 Wildcat 51 returns to BNA for quick turn and back
to NAS Oceana. Above freqs used. No air to air do
to being single ship. Future posts will be a lot
shorter. Thanks for letting me introduce myself.
PS anyone have any Ft. Campbell stuff?
