FACSFACJAX (SEALORD) controls surface, subsurface,
and designated air space for Commander in Chief, U.S. Atlantic
Fleet (CINCLANTFLT) in accordance with reference (a). Ashore
FACSFACJAX manages designated Special Use Airspace (SUA) and
Military Training Routes (MTR) for Commander, Naval Air Force,
U.S. Atlantic Fleet (COMNAVAIRLANT). FACSFACJAX provides and
coordinates various Fleet support services throughout these
areas.
FACSFACJAX provides AIC (Air Intercept Control) under
the call sign "BRISTOL". This military radar unit provides
Ground-Controlled Intercept (GCI) upon request. Real-time
control, as available, may be coordinated through SEALORD.
