1825Z    8983.0    CG 1712 reports they have located boat matching description with 1 POB. Boat is floating at anchor and man is waving to them. Aircraft commander declines to drop radio for safety reasons. They request a helicopter on scene. On scene WX is rain with winds at 9 knots.
