Looks like the skip is in here in New England. This morning while
monitoring P25 Westover's Acft Maint Net there was another station on
frequency ID'ding as "EMS or ENS Control" with a NFM mode, CTCSS 100.0)...
I've noted there's also been some additional, NFM carriers on some of the
Westover P25 Nets (138-142, 148-150.8 mhz), which I'd assume is also some
skip.
Grove's "Military Frequency Directory" 2nd edition doesn't list any users.
Grove's "Federal Frequency Directory" 2nd edition lists this frequency as a
"spectrum hole" which so far only Westover's P25 net has been discovered &
reported in "Monitoring Times" magazine.
Might be a good idea for New England/Northeast Monitors to try searching the
138-144, 148-150.8 mhz band today.
BTW has anyone had any luck in monitoring P25 digital skip?
