[MilCom] Milcom monitoring doesn't exist where I live

Hello Joe,

You have aboiut the same situation in Nashville as we have in Toledo. One
local base (sounds like our is much more active though), and a refueling
track or two. The best thing up here is keeping a bunch of freqs in and
catching aircraft as they fly over the area.

Have you tried the refueling track overhead? There is 203, which uses 238.9
and 319.7, with entry/exit freqs of 354.0 and 338.3. To the east of
Nashville is the 633 track, uses 295.8 and 319.7, with 254.3 and 272.7 as
entry/exit. Those aircraft may also be talking with Crisco at Knoxville on
271.1 or 322.7.

Other than that, keep the common freqs plugged in (311.0, 321.0, 255.4,
there's a ton of them....) and you'll get lucky from time to time.

Outdoor antenna is highly recommended, I've had good luck with the couple of
scanner beams available out there. It doesn't need height if all you're
listening to is aircraft.

There's always shortwave, that's a while different ballgame but is kind of
neat.

I'll send you some Ft Campbell freqs in another message as soon as I look
them up. Good luck!!

Daryll
