[MilCom] Radio shack 800mhz antenna and the Pro97

I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on the Radio shack 800mhz 
antenna and the Pro97?.. I originally bought the 800mhz antenna for my 
Pro95 which is no longer my primary portable. I would like to use the 
800mhz antenna on my Pro97.. I just don't know if it would be worth it?
