I've been using a Jim M-75 preamp for many years. It has three freq ranges:

225-1500 MHz
108-185 MHz
24-2150 MHz

I've experienced a drastic difference in intermod when using 225-1500 & 108-185, though the
effectiveness would depend on your particular location.
