ARMY 23140 is an Army flight check aircraft. They have
been frequent visitors to Hunter AAF in Savannah and
they tested out navaids and ground controlled approach
equipment at airfields prior to the G-8 Summit in June.
They use 135.850 to work with ground maintenance just
as the FAA flight checks do. I have also heard them ID'd
by themselves and/or ATC as as ARMY 140, FLIGHT CHECK
140 and ARMY FLIGHT CHECK 140.
