I sent my IC-R7000 in for repair to Icom America Seattle WA. The tech there said that they had just recvd (7) of these same radios from the US Govt. Guess where they came from? AREA51 !! He said they had the 99-198 channel increase installed but all the channels had been ERASED prior to shipping. Oh Well. Steve
