Today I heard a Tyndall AFB 325FW F-15 (Edge 01) chatting a bit with the
Avon Park Bombing Range controller 0n 292.2. He said that the Tyndall F-15s
were TDY at NAS Key West so as to fly against the Canadian F/A-18s. He had one
of the Canadian pilots in his back seat and was taking him for a view of Avon
Park Bombing Range. I guess he gave him a bit of a thrill because I heard him
ask for an unrestricted climb after completing a low pass at the Range. Other
comms from Edge 01 were on 307.1 and 291.6 as he RTBd to NAS Key West.
