That was 125.45 AM - which is Washington Center frequency for the area from
basically Trenton NJ thru Southern New Jersey, Delaware, NE Maryland and SE
Pennsylvania. The controller handles flights above Philadelphia TCA and to
about 25 thousand feet. The frequency is active for flights inbound to
Newark NJ and NY Airports along with handling the traffic moving NE toward
Boston and overseas.
The CAP was in the area he controlled so there was some coordination needed
in the beginning of the CAP.
