[MilCom] Perimeter Security Fence Offset Notice Future "On Scene" Activities

Interestingly, today when I drove past the new Granby (MA) Reserve Forces
Medical Field Training facilities I noted a new fence had been installed
(same position as the old one) BUT the signs now say US Government Property
No Trespassing, property boundary 70 feet from fence/sign... At least on
one side of the fence line if the guy is mowing his lawn he will be
trespassing. I'd assume that this basically is to set up an enforceable
exclusion zone prior to the actual perimeter fence. This is the first time
I've seen signage stating this, so perhaps as fences/signage is replaced at
other older facilities the same type signs will be placed...

BTW right across the street (two lane country road) is a town owned park
(Brown Ellison park (12 acres)) with ample parking. Should prove to be an
interesting "on scene" monitoring challenge to scoop those low powered
training frequencies in use.

As an added benefit the park is right on the approach to KCEF's Runway #23,
affording at times some fairly good photographing opportunties. Of course
rumors abound that covert surveillance cameras have been installed in the
park to identify suspicious activity & the area is subject to review by one
of the roving airfield security surveillance & response teams (RASSRT) .
Although the park remains open during the winter, it isn't maintained
(plowed or sanded).
